Molecular Devices: Development, Application and Opportunity

The third edition of the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on “Artificial Molecular Motors and Switches” brings together early-career scientists to discuss recent advances in the field of molecular devices. The future opportunities for development of new varieties of molecular devices and their applications in smart materials, biological environments, sensors, precision medicine, and many more aspects of chemical science will be emphasized. We will explore how different functions arise from the structural design and how to fully harness their dynamic properties in novel applications. Scientists from multiple disciplines will get the opportunity to share their expertise to broaden theoretical and practical knowledge about this fascinating field of research as well as discussing applications of molecular machines and challenges lying ahead of us.
