Conference Description
The Atherosclerosis GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This Gordon Research Seminar brings together the latest in genetic discovery, molecular mechanisms, and translational research related to the complex disease processes of atherosclerosis. In a collegial atmosphere this comprehensive seminar provides a unique forum for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their unpublished work and ideas among peers. Driven by a vested interest in innovation, our seminar will encourage collaborative networking, promote inclusive discussions, and enable an open exchange about the challenges and failures along the scientific path.
Gordon Conferences are committed to diverse participation, and the GRS chairs highly encourage prospective attendees to apply for the diversity fellowships for which they are eligible (for more information, see https://www.grc.org/about/grc-diversity-initiatives/). Please do not hesitate to contact the chairs with any questions.
