Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) are among the very best venues for exchanging scientific information, developing collaborations, and thinking. Former chairs and vice-chairs of the GRC on Bioanalytical Sensors have made it a top priority to create an engaging atmosphere for all scientists by embracing young scientists. In an attempt to further enhance the GRC experience for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, a two-day Gordon Research Seminar in Bioanalytical Sensors is being organized. These sessions will commence on Friday evening (February 24, 2006) and continue through Sunday evening when the regular GRC on Bioanalytical Sensors will begin.

The objective of the GRS is to foster more active participation in GRC discussions by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, promote the forming of relationships that will lead to enduring professional affiliations, and to provide immersion in subject of biosensors that will lead to more concrete foundation for understanding presentations of senior researchers.
