The Bioinorganic GRS has become the leading forum for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the field to share their research and discuss ideas in a fun and casual environment. Originally developed in response to the over-subscription of the parent Metals in Biology Gordon Research Conference (GRC), the Bioinorganic Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) is now in its 16th year.

The breadth of research covered at this conference is representative of the dynamic and diverse topics that encompass bioinorganic chemistry. Discussion sessions will include (but are not limited to): metalloprotein structure and function, metals in human health and disease, environmental bioinorganic chemistry, bioinorganic materials and assemblies, and synthetic models of metalloprotein active sites. We invite, and encourage, students from any sub-discipline of Bioinorganic Chemistry to submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation.
