Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Biointerface Science is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

Biointerface science is, by definition, highly interdisciplinary and this GRS meeting will bring together an international group of scientists who work at the cutting edge of multiple fields of specialization. There will be opportunities to present formally in oral and poster sessions and to engage in vibrant open discussion in an environment specifically tailored to foster links between researchers of diverse skillsets. The scientific sessions will focus on advances in research and the development of applications in synthetic surfaces, biolubrication, biofilms, surface-adhesion, membrane-associated systems and at bio-organic and bio-inorganic interfaces.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Biointerface Science" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
