Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Cannabinoid Function in the CNS is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to explore the endocannabinoid modulation of neural function in healthy and diseased states that often results in altered behavioral and clinical processes. The meeting will highlight a mentorship component and cutting edge research topics including, although not limited to, development, learning and memory, drug use and addiction, emotional and sensory processes, neurodegenerative disorders, behavioral and cognitive disorders, pain and stress-related disorders, sleep, feeding and metabolism.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Cannabinoid Function in the CNS" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
