Understanding Cardiac Pathophysiology to Improve Treatment Outcome

The opportunity for the young scientific community to meet with their peers, exchange research ideas and network in a non-formal environment is crucial for the development of the researchers of tomorrow. The Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Cardiac Arrhythmia Mechanisms offers a distinctive gathering for the young scientists to present their newest research and establish valuable discussions and new connections.

The focus of this meeting is to (1) give the opportunity to graduate students, post-docs and early career scientists to present their work among the young scientific community, (2) allocate time for interactions and discussions in an informal atmosphere, (3) offer a discussion panel on the translational aspects of research and career development with established and senior scientists, and (4) pave the way to the scientific atmosphere of the associated GRC.

In order to emphasize the translational and multi-disciplinary aspect of the meeting, we encourage young scientists to submit abstracts covering a large range of techniques used in cardiovascular research field, spanning from nano to macro, from in-vitro to ex-vivo to in-vivo, from models to the patients. We strongly recommend that GRS attendees attend the associated GRC.
