Conference Description
The Cartilage Biology and Pathology GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
This edition of the Gordon Research Seminar on Cartilage Biology and Pathology meeting will highlight a broad range of models currently being used to study cartilage biology and pathology during development, disease, and regeneration. The range of models include but are not limited to in-vitro, ex-vivo, in-vivo and in-silico models. This two-day meeting will provide a multi-disciplinary forum for evaluating the benefits and limitations across the many models of cartilage focused research, and how they can be best harnessed to further our understanding of the biology, genetics, and pathology contributing to development, disease, and regeneration in the clinical setting.
An outline of the program components for this GRS is displayed below. The seminar chair is currently developing their detailed program schedule, which will include the speakers they select from submitted abstracts, in addition to any additional components outlined below. The detailed program will be available by January 21, 2025. Please check back for updates.
