The Gordon-Kenan Research Seminar on Cellulosomes, Cellulases & Other Carbohydrate Modifying Enzymes is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to promote interactions between young investigators who share an interest in carbohydrate modifying enzymes but study different aspects of this field including degradation of cellulose and other plant cell wall polysaccharides, substrate structure, and genomics of cell wall degrading organisms. The breadth of topics is similar to the GRC, but the intimacy of the setting provides unparalleled opportunity to share ideas and form collaborations across diverse fields.
