Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Chemical Oceanography is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is the investigation of marine biogeochemical processes using novel approaches and innovative analytical techniques. The interdisciplinary approach used in the study of chemical cycling in the marine environment is one of the great strengths of chemical oceanography. The field thrives on change and we hope that all applicants see their research as a new contribution to understanding marine biogeochemical cycles.

Related Meeting

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Chemical Oceanography" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
