Conference Description
The Collagen GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The highlight of the GRS is the elevated ability to expand your network with other young researchers from across the world. In addition to oral and poster presentations, the scientific program includes a keynote session and mentorship panel by principal investigators from a variety of backgrounds. The scientific focus of the meeting is on emerging interdisciplinary topics in collagen-related research; from the broad range of physiological processes, collagen molecular properties, and the development of novel treatments and therapies. All attendees are expected to present an oral or poster presentation at the GRS.
The Collagen GRS will take place the weekend before the Collagen Gordon Research Conference (GRC). These two conferences will be held at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH surrounded by serene lakes, woodlands and mountains. All GRS attendees are expected to attend the subsequent Collagen GRC.
