Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Correlated Electron Systems is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to explore the rapidly evolving field of correlated electron systems, the frontier of our understanding of quantum phenomena in condensed matter with potentially revolutionary technological applications. There will be ample opportunity for presenting cutting edge research in oral presentations and poster sessions as well as a chance to become more familiar with the topics of the main conference including but not limited to: graphene, topological insulators and superconductors, critical phenomena in metals, and magnetism and superconductivity.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Correlated Electron Systems" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
