Keynote Session: Enhancing PDE Activity as a Therapeutic Strategy
Much has been discovered about cAMP signalling in disease using selective PDE inhibitors, siRNA, Dominant negative approaches and disruption of PDE protein complexes. As some diseases are underpinned by an increase in local cAMP concentration, enhancement of PDE activity is now undergoing testing as a therapeutic strategy. This session will cover recent advances. We will also showcase some key talks from the GRS.
