Genesis, Maintenance and Repair: Exploring the Principles of Building an Organism

The 2023 seminar will emphasize on the emergence of global approaches in developmental biology and how state-of-the-art techniques such as single-cell 'omics, in toto live imaging and their associated computational tools are allowing the study of developmental processes at an unprecedented scale, and revealing new insights into principles that build an organism. Topics will bring together speakers across multiple disciplines within developmental biology including: stem cells & regeneration, signaling across scales, mechanical morphogenesis, single cell dynamics, and niches and environmental influence on development.
