From Fundamentals to Applications in Energy Conversion and Beyond

The Gordon Research Seminar on Electron Donor-Acceptor Interactions is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other early-career scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting-edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to bring together our understanding of electron donor-acceptor interactions in the context of fundamental studies and applications. Topics covered by an interdisciplinary selection of speakers will include, but are not limited to: solar energy conversion and storage, spectroscopy of molecules and materials, charge and energy transfer in biological systems, donor-acceptor interactions in nanomaterials, molecular design of functional chromophores, as well as theory and computation of electron transfer processes. An interdisciplinary panel will focus on science communication.
