7:40 pm - 9:30 pm | New Challenges of Nanotechnology |
| To start off the conference we have scheduled an engaging session that provides four views on a topic which has arisen at the first and second Environmental Nanotechnology GRC meetings, namely 'the distribution of nanomaterials between different phases is scientifically sound and has environmental relevance'. This will be structured as an Oxford Style Debate intended to show GRC participants that it is common to have varying opinions on important topics and that debate, questions and discussion work to bring a community together. These will be followed with a presentation by the newest NAE member in the environmental nanotechnology area (Prof. Wiesner). |
