Leading Methodologies for Evaluating Environmental Impacts and Benefits of Nanotechnology
Environmental nanotechnologies are developed to introduce an added advantage or benefit, yet the utilization of nanomaterials is not without impact (e.g., embedded energy, ecotoxicity elicited from release). This session will feature research aimed at developing methods and approaches to evaluating these impacts and their trade-offs and informing improved design of emerging nano-enabled products.
