Enzyme Function and Mechanism in Biology and Beyond

This GRS will feature oral and poster presentations in broad topic areas including biochemistry, macromolecular structure, chemical biology, and metabolism. Interdisciplinary studies, methodology, and applications of enzyme research in health, industry, and the environment are encouraged. In addition to the scientific program, the GRS will feature a discussion panel with representatives from academia, industry, and policy to discuss career planning, mentoring, and other challenges of the field. The GRS provides its attendees with an informal environment for community-building and fosters long-lasting professional connections. This first day helps set the tone and empower the attendees for success during the associated Gordon Research Conference, which our GRS attendees are strongly encouraged to attend.
