Coupled Processes at Pore Scale and Characterization
Strong coupling between pore-scale structural heterogeneity and pore-scale physical and biogeochemical processes can lead to complex phenomena. Imaging of complex pore structure and coupled processes, and predictive pore-scale modeling will be discussed.

Coupled Processes at Pore Scale and Characterization (continued ) / Coupled Processes in Fractured Media and Characterization
Fractures are ubiquitous and exert dominant control over the medium properties. Advanced methods for fracture characterization and forward models for coupled processes in fractured media will be presented. The gap between cutting edge forward models and characterization methods will be discussed.
