Conference Description
ATTENTION: The GRS bus picks up and drops off at the Florence Airport (FLR) only. GRC no longer has bus service to / from the Pisa Airport.
The Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The Gordon Research Seminar on Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and medical trainees to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The focus of this meeting is to showcase outstanding research by early career scientists using basic, translational, and/or clinical approaches to understand Fragile X Syndrome and/or other autism spectrum disorders. Through this meeting, we will bring together early stage scientists from multiple fields to discuss innovations in ASD research with the goal of fostering new ideas and collaborations. This meeting will provide a highly interactive platform to promote the exchange of ideas and protocols, scientific networking, collaborations and mentorship.
An outline of the program components for this GRS is displayed below. The seminar chair is currently developing their detailed program schedule, which will include the speakers they select from submitted abstracts, in addition to any additional components outlined below. The detailed program will be available by March 12, 2024. Please check back for updates.
