The Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) share overlapping features in sensory processing, motor coordination, and social behavior. This session will explore how multiscale alterations across these domains—from molecular and neural mechanisms to behavioral phenotypes—may serve as potential biomarkers for early diagnosis and subject stratification. Drawing from both clinical and preclinical studies, we will examine the emergence of these phenotypes, their underlying neurobiology, and their implications for diagnosis, intervention, and translational research. Particular emphasis will be placed on cross-species markers and their relevance to personalized approaches in understanding FXS and ASDs.

The seminar chair is currently developing their detailed program schedule, which will include the speakers they select from submitted abstracts, in addition to any additional components outlined below.
