The Gordon-Kenan Research Seminar on High Temperature Corrosion is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

This GRS will be an interactive forum devoted to the advancement of young researchers’ understanding of high-temperature corrosion, and the discussion of cutting edge research in the field. A focus will be placed upon furthering the mechanistic understanding of the corrosion processes in state-of-the-art jet engines, solid oxide fuel cells, and land-based turbines. Additionally, advancements in the basic scientific understanding of the processes that affect these systems will be discussed with a concentration on the development of new materials.
