Conference Description
ATTENTION: The GRS bus picks up and drops off at the Florence Airport (FLR) only. GRC no longer has bus service to / from the Pisa Airport.
The Immunoengineering GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
Technologies that bridge engineering and immunology have enhanced our understanding of a wide range of pathologies and expanded our toolbox to combat them. By bringing researchers together from a wide range of disciplines we foster collaboration at the intersection of immunology and engineering to develop transformative technologies and promote human health.
This 2024 seminar will focus on interdisciplinary approaches including engineered cells, immunomodulatory materials, advanced imaging technology and cutting edge immuno-informatics.
An outline of the program components for this GRS is displayed below. The seminar chair is currently developing their detailed program schedule, which will include the speakers they select from submitted abstracts, in addition to any additional components outlined below.
