Conference Description
Over the past years, Magnetic Resonance (MR) has evolved into a field that brings together scientists from physics, biology, chemistry, and engineering to push the limits of technology and answer fundamental questions in physiology. The next 20 years will no doubt bring about change to the way we approach MR research, but will also see an emerging new generation of MR scientists—the early career scientists of today.
We invite all early career scientists, graduate students, and postdocs of the MR community to participate in the In Vivo Magnetic Resonance Gordon Research Seminar. In this high-energy two-day seminar, attendees will discuss the current and future direction of cutting-edge topics, such as deep learning, MRI hardware, image reconstruction and molecular imaging, and present their work in an interactive, engaging, and trainee-focused environment.
In addition to talks by young scientists, join us for dynamic poster sessions and a mentorship panel featuring scientists that have chosen different career trajectories including industry, academia, and start-ups. With the ever-changing field of MR and with our fellow trainee scientists spread all across the globe, we hope that this seminar also brings to you a sense of community. Our different training backgrounds bring something very unique to our interdisciplinary field of MR. And perhaps, besides the memories of a victorious foosball game after the scientific sessions, you take home with you a revolutionary idea that will shape the future of MR.
The seminar begins at 3:30 pm on July 16th.
