Dr. Lilibeth Salvador heads the Marine Pharmacognosy Lab at the Marine Science Institute at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. After completing her doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida under the mentorship of Dr. Hendrik Luesch, she returned to UP Diliman to advance the marine natural products research capacities of the Philippines.
