| The goal of this session
is to introduce early investigators to the Gordon Conference and the theme of
both the GRS and the GRC to come. In particular our meeting focus (Moving Forward in Musculoskeletal Biology and
Bioengineering) will introduce and develop the concept of
cross-disciplinary studies, networking and strategies for early investigators
to develop strong and meaningful research careers and programs. A Keynote
Lecture will be presented by Dr. Ronen Schweitzer of the Oregon Health Sciences
University and Dr. Alice Huang of Mount Sinai. Drs. Schweitzer and Huang will
discuss their career paths in biology and engineering, respectively, their
interdisciplinary research programs, and the role that mentorship has played in
their careers. |
