1:30 pm - 2:30 pm | Mentorship Component: Small Group Discussions |
| 5-8 small group discussions, each led by an established investigator, drawn from the list of GRC speakers, discussion leaders and regular attendees of past meetings. |
| Goals: First, the interaction will give GRS attendees an opportunity to approach established investigators in a structured but informal way, so as to foster continuing discussions throughout the GRC. Second, the interaction will allow for the seeking and dissemination of advice on careers, work-life balance, and future research directions within the mentor's own research interests and the broader photoreceptor field. |
