Conference Description
The Plasmonics and Nanophotonics GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The focus of this meeting is on the future of nanophotonics research as it begins to transition from basic research to applications in various fields, including biomedicine, energy harvesting, and information processing and storage (quantum and classical), to name a few. We encourage participants to share their vision and ideas regarding the future of nanophotonics research along with their fundamental research work. The meeting also includes an interactive career panel aimed at providing valuable future perspectives from industry and academia.
