Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Radiation & Climate is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is to discuss recent efforts in understanding interactions between radiation, clouds and climate across a range of topics, that include, but are not limited to: radiation, convection, and large-scale dynamics; radiation at the Earth’s surface; and the role of clouds. We encourage abstracts that focus on a process-level understanding of these disciplines, and especially those that do so through a synthesis of observations and models.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Radiation and Climate" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
