From Molecular Assembly to Functional Materials

The Gordon Research Seminar on Self-Assembly & Supramolecular Chemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The scientific focus of the meeting will be on the highly interdisciplinary fields of self-assembly and supramolecular chemistry. A range of varying topics will be discussed including hydrogen bonding, metal/ligand and host/guest interactions, as well as aiming to highlight cutting edge research in stimuli-responsive supramolecular-based materials, for applications such as sensing, and self-healing materials. The highly multi-disciplinary nature of the conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for scientists from different disciplines to discuss cutting-edge science and promote inter-discipline collaboration.
