Directing Supramolecular Interactions for a Sustainable Future

This meeting will highlight supramolecular systems, from fundamental understandings of molecular interactions to applications in a wide range of disciplines including chemistry, materials, sensors, devices, biology, and medicine. There will be a focus on the dynamic nature of supramolecular systems in and out of equilibrium and how their assembly and disassembly pathways can be directed by molecular design and control over system conditions. This dynamic nature also opens the door for supramolecular systems to contribute to sustainability, from self-healing, recyclable, or degradable materials to sustainable applications in energy, the environment and health. Attendees will be encouraged to consider how their research and the broader field of supramolecular chemistry can contribute to the realization of a sustainable future. This meeting provides an excellent opportunity for highly motivated young researchers and invited keynote speakers to exchange ideas through programmed discussion sessions and informal gatherings.
