Responding to Cells, Stress, Surfaces and Small Molecules

The Gordon Research Seminar on Sensory Transduction in Microorganisms is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is on recent advances in our understanding of signaling networks in microorganisms, with particular emphasis on bacterial receptor systems. The meeting will highlight topics that explore the signaling mechanisms that underlie such processes as chemotaxis, motility, community behavior, metabolism, and biofilm formation, and will also feature a mentorship component providing career path advice.
