Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Streptococcal Biology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The inaugural GRS on Streptococcal Biology will feature the many aspects of current streptococcal/enterococcal research with special emphasis on the physiology, host-pathogen interactions, and vaccine development research being done by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Additionally, the GRS will host a panel discussion to further develop attendees’ science communication skills focused on grant writing strategies and public engagement.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Streptococcal Biology" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
