Mentorship Component: Designing Biology for Sustainable Solutions
With the help of mentors, groups will brainstorm pie-in-the-sky solutions to the biggest problems facing the Earth today, then develop a more down-to-Earth plan using synthetic biology technologies. A short panel discussion by the mentors will finish the session.
Discussion Leaders: Abe Pressman (National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA) and Daniel Anderson (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA)
