Conference Description
The Systems Aging GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes a diverse range of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities, with lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks, the conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking opportunities with leaders in the field.
The conference program is set around the theme of "Systems Modeling, Aging Biomarkers, and Longevity Interventions." Aging is a complex and multifactorial process that can be elucidated through systems-level modeling. Several reliable aging biomarkers have been developed in recent years. Quantitative and whole-organismal approaches to aging and age-related diseases promise to identify and validate longevity interventions. The conference will present recent advances in systemic rejuvenation, multi-omics approaches, applications of machine learning/artificial intelligence, and approaches for enhancing the chance of successfully translating basic research results to the clinic. We hope the Systems Aging GRC will help integrate and cross-pollinate recent advances while bringing together established and junior scientists in a setting that stimulates thorough discussion and the free exchange of ideas. The program will include speakers from diverse fields who are united in their pursuit of pioneering longevity and rejuvenating interventions. The 2024 Systems Aging GRC also aims to present advanced approaches for identifying comprehensive interventions that alleviate age-related pathology.
The topics, speakers, and discussion leaders for the conference sessions are displayed below. The conference chair is currently developing their detailed program, which will include the complete meeting schedule, as well as the talk titles for all speakers. The detailed program will be available by February 3, 2024. Please check back for updates.
