Engineering Cells, Tissues and Materials to Enhance Regenerative Medicine

The growing field of tissue repair and regeneration encompasses strategies as diverse as gene and cell therapies, extracellular matrix re-formulation, tissue and organ 3D-printing and the design of bioactive nanomaterials and scaffolds, to name a few. With such a wide breadth of innovative approaches populating the field, teams set to make significant advances in regenerative medicine will undoubtedly require active collaboration between scientists with backgrounds in all such disciplines. This seminar aims to bring together outstanding junior members of the cell biology, tissue engineering and materials science communities to help set the foundation for such highly interdisciplinary environment.

The Gordon Research Seminar on Tissue Repair and Regeneration is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. In addition to scientific discussion, this meeting will provide mentoring tailored to specific career stages and paths as well as networking opportunities for all participants.
