Conference Description
The Tissue Repair and Regeneration GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The ultimate goal of regenerative therapies is a complete return of form and function. This seminar will focus on the various regulatory mechanisms that function to maintain homeostasis and ultimately restore form and function following injury. This topic encompasses the stress responses, patterning, and organ size control and is informed by developmental pathways. Through this forum, participants will create networks and share ideas with their fellow up-and-coming scientists as they explore the emerging questions in the field of tissue repair and regeneration.
NOTE: The GRS abstract submission deadline to be considered for oral presentation has been extended to March 31, 2025.
An outline of the program components for this GRS is displayed below. The seminar chair is currently developing their detailed program schedule, which will include the speakers they select from submitted abstracts, in addition to any additional components outlined below. The detailed program will be available by April 1, 2025. Please check back for updates.
