Virus-Host Interactions, Tools and Therapeutics

Viruses have an enormous impact on their host organisms spanning every branch of the tree of life. Global efforts are continuously underway, from understanding viral life cycles in order to prevent virus infection to use them as molecular tools for our own benefit. This seminar will span the cutting-edge advances in different facets of basic and applied virology. GRS sessions will include, but will not be limited to, virus and cell interactions, pathogenesis, immune response, and new therapies to counteract virus attack. The meeting will intent to promote constructive discussions and networking amongst peers during and between sessions, in a congenial and informal setting.
