Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar is a meeting run by junior investigators, for junior investigators. It brings together post-docs and graduate students in a stimulating yet relaxed environment to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas before the start of the associated Gordon Research Conference. Topics include: envelope biogenesis, maintenance and degradation; transport and secretion of proteins, small molecules and other polymers; cell division and morphogenesis; subcellular localization; and environmental and multicellular interactions. Participants are strongly encouraged to present posters at the GRC immediately following the GRS. The two most outstanding speakers of the GRS will be invited to present during the main GRC.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Bacterial Cell Surfaces" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
