From the Basics of Biocatalysis to Industrial Applications

The Gordon Research Seminar on Biocatalysis is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. Our aim is to cover biocatalysis from the basics of enzyme discovery and characterization to the industrial application of different biocatalysts and engineered enzymes.

This meeting is a unique chance to connect with other motivated researchers on a similar level in their career to discuss science and different career paths in the field of biocatalysis. We therefore kick-off the meeting with a keynote lecture by a scientific leader in the field, followed by selected oral and poster presentations as well as a mentorship panel with experienced scientists to discuss different career paths and career development.
