The 60th Natural Products Gordon research Conference will feature cutting edge developments in natural products isolation, structure elucidation, synthesis, methods development, and other areas enabled by organic chemistry. The complex structures and remarkable biological properties of natural products serve as inspiration to drive the art of organic chemistry and drug discovery. They provide a platform for developing new synthetic strategies and methodology for the synthesis of complex small molecules. This year’s speakers will present lectures on synthetic organic chemistry (total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, asymmetric catalysis and organometallic chemistry), natural product isolation, bio-synthesis, chemical biology and structure elucidation.

The meeting will be held in a new location, Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The site offers comfortable accommodations as well as suitable facilities for the exchange of science. The robust, relaxed and cordial social climate of this conference will be well-served by the Bryant site as well.

Poster sessions are a critical part of the scientific and social exchange at the Natural Products GRC. All conferees are encouraged to present a poster. A small number of posters will be selected as short talks during the conference.
